New Beginning - Bid Farewell to Old Pinafore

I've never imagined how time flew so fast, when I am now standing on a new path that leads me to a new phase in my life.

The shroud that enclosed every memoirs of my juvenile metamorphosis would be thrown away in a short while. When the gun has shot its bullets to the air, the race would start and farewell would be inevitable.

I still remember the ups and downs, the joy and tears that I've gone through in secondary school, under the cozy shades of CHIJ Katong Convent - the cottage of education. When girls began to act like ladies, growing up step by step, ease away their childish side to face this harsh world of reality, witnessing all those were an unforgettable moment which would be hard to shed away.

Frankly speaking, I used to hate my blue pinafore, the common identity of all convent girls. I looked like a kindergarten kid, with a squarish Ripcurl backpack, making my way from the St. Patrick's bus stop, to the bridge across, heading to KC. For two solid years, I was a part of the KC family. Now, I am a part of KC Alumnae. Nevertheless, once a KCian, always be a KCian.

The FLAME has been ignited.
It's time for another journey to start.
