I was in the bus 154 going home from school where this officer lady boarded the bus to check for out ezlink card.
everything went smoothly until she reached the back seat, where this guy sat.
Let's just call him, "The Temperament"
And so, the Officer Lady asked for his ez-link card, and he gave her a blank distorted card which he claimed to be his "faded" student ID.
Of course, as an intelligent lady, she refused to buy whatever reason that "The Temperament" offered, until HE REALLY ALMOST LOST HIS TEMPER.
He shouted at her, threatening her to return him the card before he lost his temper.
What a surprise to me, the Officer Lady still responded to him calmly and retained the card.
She would send it to Hougang Stn, where The Temperament who said that he stayed in Sengkang could go and redeem his card by making an appropriate ID card.
Well, i didn't get to watch the rest of the drama as i gotta alight at my stop and left the chaotic bus to continue it's journey to Eunos.
This really left me to wonder,
with education, shouldn't teenager has the right attitude to confront someone older than himself?
Where has this graciousness gone?
Is everyone alleged to behave in similar way?
Please, we are the future.
Do make Singapore a peaceful country to live in.
